To get the best print from your laser printer when printing labels, try using the “Labels” setting. You will find it under “properties” or “settings”on the page that comes up just before you print; usually under “paper type” or “media type”. Printers are usually set to 80gsm paper as a default; labels are much thicker and need more energy to bond the toner to the surface. The “Labels” setting slows down the print speed and adjusts the heat setting of the fuser unit.
