A Guide To Ordering Self-Adhesive Labels From Label Planet

At Label Planet, we aim to make it as simple as possible to order the self adhesive labels you need as quickly as possible. You can order online, by phone, email, post, or fax.

How To Order Self Adhesive Labels Online

Get started on our home page at www.labelplanet.co.uk. Find the adhesive labels you want using our Label Finder, Alphabetical List, Search By links, or enter the product code into the product search bar.

All of our label codes begin with LP – so you know they’re from Label Planet. Each product has its own product page and each product page is listed on a range page. View all of our range pages on our List Of All Labels page.

On the product page, select the quantity you need and add your items to the basket. To order coloured labels or fluorescent labels, you will also need to select a colour.

Checkout and provide a billing address, delivery address (if different from your billing address), and contact details. Please note, if you are paying with a credit/debit card, your billing address MUST match your registered card address.

If you are ordering fewer than 250 sheets you can now upgrade to special delivery, which guarantees next day delivery.

Finally, make a payment; pay using a debit/credit card or a PayPal account. Once you have confirmed your payment details, you must confirm your order details to complete the checkout process.

You should now receive two emails; one confirms we have successfully received your order and the other is from one of our payment gateway providers (SagePay and PayPal) to confirm your payment was successful.

As soon as we process your order for despatch (or manufacture and despatch *), you will receive a third confirmation email.

* Stocked items have a minimum order quantity of 25 sheets. Made to order items have a minimum order quantity of 500 sheets; items are made on a rotational schedule and so take up to five working days for despatch. Standard paper labels tend to despatch much sooner.

How To Order Self Adhesive Labels By Phone

Our Customer Service Team is on hand to take orders by phone Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Let us know the products and quantities you wish to order, along with your delivery information. We can accept payment by debit or credit card. If you do not have access to a payment card, you can request a Proforma Invoice against which you (or your Finance Department) can make payment by credit/debit card, BACS transfer, or cheque.

Please note: we do not offer credit accounts. We operate on a payment with order basis and will not despatch goods until payment has been made (or you provide proof that a BACS transfer has been scheduled). The one exception is Local Education Authority schools, see below.

How To Order Self Adhesive Labels By Email/Fax

You can order by email – and, yes, even by fax. Send an Official Purchase Order (or the details of your order and your delivery information) to us by email or by fax and we’ll send you a Proforma Invoice against which you can make payment by credit/debit card, BACS transfer, or cheque. As noted above, we will not despatch your order until we have received payment.

If you are a Local Education Authority school, you may request a School Invoice; this gives you 30 days for payment. You must send us an official School Purchase Order OR your order details on official school letterhead, signed by the individual responsible for making payment.

How To Order Self Adhesive Labels By Post

Yes, we do accept orders by post. Send us an official purchase order or pop your order (and delivery) details into a note and post it to us – along with a cheque or postal order for payment – at Label Planet, Unit 2 Alvaston Business Park, Middlewich Road, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6PF. Cheques should be made payable to “Label Planet Ltd”.

Please note that you will need to leave plenty of time for your order to arrive with us and for us to despatch your order back to you.

Welcome Back To The Label Planet Blog!

We hope you had a wonderful time celebrating the New Year (hopefully your New Year’s Resolution just so happens to be ordering more labels). Here’s a quick update on our current despatch and delivery leadtimes.

We’re working our way through the emails and online orders that we received during our Winter Break. We are prioritising the despatch and delivery of orders (anything placed after 3pm on Friday 21st December).

To find out more about existing orders (placed in 2018) or orders you would like to place now, please consult the despatch and delivery FAQs below. If you can’t find the answer you need, please email our Customer Service Team via info@labelplanet.co.uk and we’ll do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

I Haven’t Received My Order

If your order despatched on or before Friday 21st December, you should have received a confirmation email. If you ordered by phone, our Customer Service Team will have indicated when your order would be despatched.

Small orders (fewer than 200 sheets) despatch via Royal Mail’s first class service. This is NOT a guaranteed next day delivery service and is subject to delays over the Christmas period. Usually, we allow FIVE working days for delivery; we would therefore advise waiting to see if your order is delivered this week. If it does not arrive, please contact our Customer Service Team.

If you upgraded to a guaranteed next day delivery option, your order should have been delivered by now. Please contact our Customer Service Team so that we can investigate further.

Large orders (250+ sheets) despatch via next working day courier – where stock is available. If your order was despatched, it should have arrived by now. If you ordered made to order items (those with a 500 sheet minimum) or if the items you ordered were out of stock, your order will be scheduled for manufacture and despatch this week. We will do our best to process these orders as quickly as possible; if you need your order urgently, please contact our Customer Service Team so that we can confirm the status of your order.

If you have not received an email confirmation from us, then your order is most likely awaiting processing; we are aiming to have all existing orders processed by tomorrow at the very latest.

If you haven’t received ANY emails from us, you may have provided an incorrect email address, our emails may be in your spam folder, or there may have been a problem with your order. Please contact our Customer Service Team for further assistance.

I Haven’t Received A Response To My Email Yet

Our office was closed during our Winter Break and so no members of staff were available to respond to correspondence received during this time. We will do our best to respond to all messages this week.

If I Order Labels From You Today When Will They Be Despatched (& Delivered)?

Despatch and delivery will depend on the specific items and quantities you order (along with stock availability). Where stock is available, the following despatch and delivery items apply.

Small Orders (fewer than 200 sheets): despatch today (up to 4:30pm) via Royal Mail’s first class service. Items MAY arrive tomorrow but can take up to five working days to arrive.

Large Orders (more than 200 sheets): despatch today (up to 3pm) via next working day courier. Delivery to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, and the Channel Islands is via TWO-working day carrier.

Where stock is NOT available, your items will be made to order and then despatched via next working day courier; this can take up to five working days. If you need your labels urgently, please contact our Customer Service Team so we can advise of the leadtime for your items.
