New Smart Bags From Label Planet! (No, They’re Not Wifi-Connected – But They Do Look Pretty Good)

Wednesday, February 15th, 2017

We’ve started a brand new project to help make our packaging as smart as it can possibly be – in as many ways as possible. While our new “smart” bags can’t tell you where your nearest coffee shop is, send a funny message to all of your friends (and quite possibly the rest of the world), or show you pictures of a really cute doggo (like our very own Harvey Dog here) – they can now give you a helping hand when it comes to designing, printing, and re-ordering your labels.

We’ve added some basic tips to our bags to give you a head start in designing and printing your own labels, as well as providing you with all you need to know about your labels and how to re-order those labels in the future.

Take a look at the BACK of your label pack(s) to find:

  • Tips For DESIGNING Labels
Including information on how to find and download a template for your labels and directions to our Help Section, where you can find step by step guides, tops tips, and a handy troubleshooting guide.
  • Tips For PRINTING Labels
Including advice on how to set up your printer and your template to make sure you get the best possible alignment when you print your template onto your labels.
  • Tips For STORING Labels
So you can keep your labels safely stored away so they’re in perfect condition when you next need to print more labels.
  • Tips For GETTING IN TOUCH
Including all of the ways you can get in touch with us whether you want to order more labels or you need some help and advice for the labels you have already bought.

Take a look at the FRONT of your label pack(s) to find out more about your labels, including:

  • The Product Code
  • The Number Of Sheets/Labels Per Pack
  • The Materials Used To Make Your Labels
  • The Measurements Of Your Label Sheets
  • The Compatible Avery Template Code (where applicable)
  • The Easiest Ways To Re-Order Your Labels
  • The Information You Need To GET IN TOUCH!

So, if you haven’t got time to look up the information you need or you’re getting a bit in a muddle, you can simply take a look at the bag(s) your labels came in for some quickfire help and advice.

Of course, if your bag doesn’t have the answer(s) that you really need, remember you can always visit our website (www.labelplanet.co.uk) or get in touch with our Customer Service Team (by phone or by email) for some one-to-one advice.

New Products: Yes, We’ve Got Another THREE New Label Products For You To Choose From!

Wednesday, February 8th, 2017

We’ve decided to kick-start the year with the introduction of three brand new products, which are all now available for our customers to buy or try (a sample).

Each one of our new products has been designed for a particular kind of application, which means that they’ll be the perfect label for the job – whether you need bottle labels and jar labels, super sticky adhesive labels, or waterproof labels that will survive in all kinds of outdoor (and indoor) conditions.

WATER WASH OFF LABELS – for when you wish your labels would just wash off.
These wonderful labels are made with a wash-off adhesive, which means that they provide a unique combination of a permanent label that can also be removed cleanly and easily – without doing any damage to your labelled items. They are perfect bottle labels and jar labels, although they can be used to label any kind of reusable container, where they can be used to clearly and securely label a container before washing away so that the container can be relabelled and reused.

Available in 8 stocked sizes for same day despatch and a further 36 made to order sizes, these paper labels can be handwritten or printed with an inkjet or laser printer.

SUPER TACK LABELS –for when you wish your labels would get a grip.
You may have noticed that we already have a “High Tack” product range; our Super Tack labels take things a step further and feature our strongest permanent adhesive to date. These labels have a supremely strong initial tack and long term adhesion to match, which allows them to create a super strong bond upon immediate contact with an item or surface and to maintain that bond over time – even when the item is made of an unusual material or the surface is curved or rough.

Available in 11 stocked sizes for same day despatch and a further 33 made to order sizes, these paper labels can be handwritten or printed with an inkjet or laser printer.

POLYOLEFIN LABELS – for when you need a label for the great outdoors.
The latest addition to our range of waterproof labels, these polyolefin labels are made with a matt white polyolefin and a marine standard adhesive, which makes them perfect for any outdoor (or indoor) application that requires a tough, long-lasting label that can survive in all kinds of conditions. The polyolefin is soft and pliable, which means that they are ideal for curved or flat surfaces and the waterproof materials allow these labels to survive even if they are exposed to (or submerged in) water.

Available in 16 stocked sizes for same day despatch and a further 28 made to order sizes, these plastic labels can be handwritten or printed with a laser printer.

A Happy New Year From Label Planet!

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017

Happy New Year To All Of Our Customers!

We hope you had a marvellous time over the Christmas break and had a spectacular start to the New Year.

Here at Label Planet, we’re back in the office and are busy processing orders that were placed over the Christmas holidays. If you did place an order over the break then you should shortly be receiving an email confirming that we have processed your order and it is either being manufactured (made to order items) or will be despatched this afternoon.

Orders of stocked items will be despatched this afternoon via Royal Mail’s first class service (25-200 sheets; if you selected the next day delivery option when you ordered, your order will be despatched via Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Guaranteed service) or our next working day carrier service (250+ sheets). New orders, meanwhile, will be processed according to our usual despatch and delivery estimates:

STOCKED ITEMS:
Small Orders (25-200 sheets):
Despatch: same day via Royal Mail’s first class service (up to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday)
This is not a guaranteed next day service; if you need to receive your order quickly, you can upgrade to Royal Mail’s guaranteed next day delivery option online or by phone – this service will mean your order will arrive by 1pm on the next working day and will require a signature upon delivery. We also offer pre-9am and Saturday delivery options but you must request these by phone.

Medium Orders (250-475 sheets):
Despatch: same day via next working day carrier service (up to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) – a signature upon delivery is required.

Large Orders (500+ sheets):
Despatch: same day via next working day carrier service (up to 3pm, Monday to Friday, subject to stock availability) – a signature upon delivery is required. If an item is temporarily out of stock, it will usually take a couple of working days for your labels to be made and despatched.

Please note: some of our coloured labels have a minimum order quantity of 100 sheets, which means that they are kept in stock at our warehouse and are despatched via next working day carrier service – while we do our best to ensure that these items remain in stock, there may be times when an item goes temporarily out of stock and despatch will be delayed a few days while the items are made.

NON-STOCKED/MADE TO ORDER ITEMS (500+ SHEETS):
Despatch: next working day carrier service (once items have been manufactured)
These items are manufactured on a rotating schedule, which means the lead time is UP TO five working days for despatch (although standard paper products are usually despatched more quickly than this).

Please note: if you are ordering 250+ sheets and need your labels in a hurry, you can call us to request a timed delivery service via carrier (such as a pre-10:30am or a pre-noon delivery slot). Orders of 250+ sheets for Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Islands With UK Postcodes, and UK “Extended Postcode” areas will be sent on a 2-3 working day carrier service.

If you want to order from the Republic of Ireland, you do need to order by phone so that we can quote for and arrange the best possible shipping option for the exact items and quantities that you need to order.

Our office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday; to qualify for same day despatch, you must order by 3pm (250+ sheets) or 4:30pm (less than 250 sheets) – and please note that we do NOT offer same day delivery.

If you have any questions or queries about ordering labels from Label Planet – whether you’ve already ordered over the winter break or you’d like to place an order now – please get in touch with our Customer Service Team for assistance.

A Very Merry Christmas from Label Planet!

Friday, December 23rd, 2016

Merry Christmas from all of us at Label Planet!

On this Eve of Christmas Eve, we would like to take a moment to say a big thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have ordered labels from us in 2016. We’ve had a brilliant year and we’d like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the last twelve months. Hopefully 2017 will be just as good, if not even better!

Whatever plans you’ve got for the rest of the year, we wish you and your family all the very best for this Christmastime and we hope you have a fabulously festive time celebrating in style!

See you in 2017!

Last Orders (Of Labels) Please!

Monday, December 19th, 2016

Christmas is undoubtedly here and while we hope that all of our customers have had a couple of busy yet brilliantly successful weeks (or months) getting things done in time for Christmas, we know that, unfortunately, things don’t always go to plan – so if you find that you need a last minute order of labels, read on for our (Last Minute) Despatch & Delivery information.

We will be processing and despatching orders Monday to Thursday this week, as follows:

STOCKED ITEMS:
Small Orders (25-200 sheets):
Orders accepted up to: 4:30pm on Thursday (22nd December)
Despatched via: Royal Mail’s first class service
LAST ORDERS FOR CHRISTMAS DELIVERY: the last recommended posting date is WEDNESDAY 21ST DECEMBER.

You MUST bear in mind that the reliability of this service will be lower than usual due to the amount of items being despatched at this time of year. We STRONGLY recommending upgrading your order to guaranteed next day delivery (available online or by phone) if you must receive your labels before Christmas. The last posting date for Royal Mail’s guaranteed next day delivery is THURSDAY 22ND DECEMBER.

Medium Orders (250-475 sheets):
Orders accepted up to: 3pm on Thursday (22nd December)
Despatched via: next day carrier service
LAST ORDERS FOR CHRISTMAS DELIVERY: we must receive your order by 3pm on THURSDAY 22ND DECEMBER.

Large Orders (500+ sheets):
Orders accepted up to: 3pm on Thursday (22nd December)
Despatched via: next day carrier service
LAST ORDERS FOR CHRISTMAS DELIVERY: we must receive your order by 3pm on THURSDAY 22ND DECEMBER.
Please note: we will only be able to despatch large orders where stock is available and so we would recommend that if you need to order a large quantity of labels AND receive them before Christmas you should contact us BEFORE placing your order so that we can confirm if the items are in stock and available to fulfil your order.

NON-STOCKED & MADE TO ORDER ITEMS:
These items have a minimum order quantity of 500 sheets listed on our website and are usually made to order items; due to the extension in manufacturing times at this time of year, we will NOT be able to despatch any non-stocked or made to order items before 2017.

If you aren’t sure whether or not the labels you want to order are available for despatch AND delivery before Christmas then you should get in touch with us BEFORE placing your order so we can discuss your requirements and confirm the despatch/delivery estimate for those specific items.

If you don’t mind when your labels arrive, you can order at any time before 4:30pm on Thursday OR you can place an order over the Christmas break – when things are a little bit “quieter”! Any orders we receive after 4:30pm on Thursday will be processed and despatched when we return from our Christmas break on January 3rd 2017.

If you have any questions or queries about ordering labels BEFORE Christmas, please contact our Customer Service Team as soon as possible; alternatively, you can simply send us an email over the Christmas break and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can once we return in the new year.

December Is Here & So Are Our 2016 Last Posting Dates!

Thursday, December 1st, 2016

We know, we know – it’s ONLY JUST December – but if you need to order labels AND receive them before Christmas then NOW is the time to order!

Over the years, we’ve found that people tend to underestimate just how early they should order their Christmas labels because they don’t realise how many steps are involved, while a lucky few find themselves in need of a last minute re-order because their products or services are in such high demand that their initial order of labels simply wasn’t enough!

Most of the labels we sell at this time of year will be used as Christmas product labels or for Christmas events, which means that you have to leave enough time for ALL of the following steps to be completed:

1) You order your labels

2) We (make and) despatch your labels to you

3) Your labels are delivered to you

4) You (design a template and) print your labels

5) You apply your labels

6) You despatch your labels to wherever they need to be by Christmas (or by your Christmas-based event) – whether that’s at the location of your Christmas event or to the delivery address of a customer.

You need to remember that, at this time of year, manufacturing times and delivery times get longer and longer (even for delivery services that are SUPPOSED to be guaranteed) AND that designing a template and printing your labels can turn into quite a lengthy process AND that applying your labels (neatly) can take a lot longer than you think.

While we will always do our best to make sure that all of our customers receive the labels that they need in plenty of time for their Christmas deadlines, you MUST make sure that you have left enough time to get everything done. Our current despatch and delivery estimates for orders that you need to receive BEFORE Christmas are as follows:

NON-STOCKED/MADE TO ORDER ITEMS (500+ SHEETS):
At this time of year, production estimates are longer than usual with most made to order items being placed on a waiting list for manufacture. Our current lead times are 5 working days for manufacture/despatch via next working day carrier BUT we would warn customers that this lead time will eventually expand into 2017, which means that we would highly recommend that you get in touch with us BEFORE placing an order so we can confirm the despatch/delivery estimate for the exact items and quantities that you would like to order.

LARGE ORDERS OF STOCKED ITEMS (500+ SHEETS):
Where items are in stock they will be despatched on the same working day via next working day carrier (Mon-Fri, up to 3pm). If the items you wish to order are temporarily out of stock, they will need to be made, which could take several working days. Again, if you need to order a large number of boxes or wish to confirm that the labels you want are available, the best thing to do is to contact us to get an exact despatch/delivery estimate.
Last Posting Date For Christmas Delivery: Friday 23rd December (subject to stock availability)

MEDIUM ORDERS OF STOCKED ITEMS (250-475 SHEETS)
These orders will be despatched same day via next working day carrier (Mon-Fri, up to 3pm).
Last Posting Date For Christmas Delivery: Friday 23rd December

SMALL ORDERS OF STOCKED ITEMS (LESS THAN 250 SHEETS)
These orders are despatched same working day (Mon-Fri, up to 4:30pm) via Royal Mail’s first class service as standard. Usually, around 93% of first class mail arrives the next day BUT at this time of year the service does suffer delays and we would strongly recommend upgrading your order to Royal Mail’s guaranteed next (working) day delivery option (available online or by phone) – please note that this service does require a signature upon delivery.
Last Posting Date For Christmas Delivery: Wednesday 21st December (first class) or Thursday 22nd December (guaranteed next day)

ORDERS TO NORTHERN IRELAND & REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
Delivery to these locations can take longer at this time of year so we strongly recommend ordering as soon as you can:

NORTHERN IRELAND:
Small Orders: sent via Royal Mail’s first class service; we strongly recommend ordering early and upgrading to the Royal Mail’s guaranteed next (working) day delivery service – bearing in mind that even this service may be delayed at this time of year. You should order by 4:30pm on Wednesday 21st December (first class) or Thursday 22nd December (guaranteed next day) to receive your labels before Christmas.
Medium/Large Orders: sent via a 2-3 working day carrier service (large orders: subject to stock availability); our last despatch day will be Wednesday 21st December (by 3pm) for delivery before Christmas.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND:
Small Orders: sent via Royal Mail’s International standard service; the last recommended posting date for this service is Friday 16th December (order by 4:30pm) but we would strongly advise that you order sooner as the service is likely to experience delays.
Medium/Large Orders: sent via a 2-3 working day carrier service (large orders: subject to stock availability); our last despatch day will be Wednesday 21st December (by 3pm) for delivery before Christmas.

Please note that deliveries to Islands With UK Postcodes & “Extended” Postcode regions are also sent via 2-3 working day carrier service and so share the last despatch date of Wednesday 21st December.

If you have any questions or queries, doubts or deliberations about ordering labels in time for Christmas we strongly recommend contacting our Customer Service Team who will be able to give you the most up to date stock levels, despatch and delivery estimates, and delivery options available for the specific items you want to order.

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like (This Is A Blog About) Christmas (Despatch & Delivery Information)!

Monday, November 7th, 2016

Yes, yes, we know – it’s far too early to talk about Christmas, but with only 48 days (yes, we counted!) and only 35 WORKING days (yes, we counted again) left until Christmas  – it’s never too early to get organised, especially if you need Christmas labels that will actually arrive BEFORE Christmas.

The majority of the labels that we sell at this time of year, as you can probably guess, end up being used as Christmas product labels, address labels for Christmas cards, invites, and mailers, or as part of Christmas events – so all of these labels need to be ordered, despatched, delivered, designed, printed, applied, and despatched on to their final destination BEFORE Christmas arrives – and doesn’t that just make those 48 days (or 35 working days) seem a lot less longer than they did before?!

A lot of our customers end up buying their labels as the very last step in their Christmas projects; they may have spent weeks and months (and years!) putting together Christmas product ranges, working on marketing and promotional campaigns for the Christmas season, or creating special invitations and cards BUT the labels they need to complete these projects all too often end up being a last minute thought – when, actually, they need a lot more than a “last minute” to get them just right.

Simply designing a template and getting it to print correctly can take much longer than you’d think and you’d be surprised at how many of our customers are caught out by forgetting to account for the time that it will take them to actually stick their labels onto their products/packaging/marketing materials/invitations etc. And all of this is before you consider the implications of trying to get things delivered at this time of year!

So, with all of this in mind, we’d like to encourage ALL of our customers to plan ahead and to order their Christmas labels as soon as they can – so you don’t end up in a last minute panic! Here is our despatch & delivery information for November & December;

25-200 sheets
Despatched from stock via Royal Mail’s first class service (or Signed For first class service where the value is £35+).
Order by 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, to qualify for same day despatch – LAST POSTING DATE: Wednesday 21st December.
Please note: we will still process and despatch small orders of stocked items up to 4:30pm on Friday 23rd December but these items are not guaranteed to arrive before Christmas.
250-475 sheets
Despatched from stock via next working day carrier service.
Order by 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, to qualify for same day despatch – LAST POSTING DATE: Friday 23rd December.
500+ sheets (stocked items)
Despatched from stock via next working day carrier service.
Order by 3pm, Monday to Friday, to qualify for same day despatch – LAST POSTING DATE: Friday 23rd December.
If the item(s) you order are temporarily out of stock, they will be made and despatched within a couple of working days.
500+ sheets (made to order items)
Despatch is up to five working days via next working day carrier service (standard paper items are usually despatched sooner).
As we get closer to Christmas, demand for made to order items soars, which means that items will eventually be placed on a waiting list for manufacture and the lead time is likely to increase – in our experience, it will usually become 5 working days (and not “up to”) before extending to 7-10 working days as December approaches. Depending on the level of demand, production of made to order items will usually stop in early/mid-December with despatch and delivery estimates shifting into 2017.
This means that it is especially important to order your labels early if you know that you need to order a large quantity of (made to order) labels.

Special Delivery Options
As Christmas gets ever closer, the reliability of delivery services (and especially the Royal Mail) does decline as more and more items are sent out in time for Christmas, which means that it’s a good idea to consider upgrading your order to a special delivery option – especially if you’ve got some pretty tight deadlines to meet. We offer the following special delivery options:
Royal Mail’s Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery (by 1pm)
25-200 sheets only; available by phone or online; requires a signature on delivery – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Royal Mail’s Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery (by 9am)
25-200 sheets only; available by phone; requires a signature on delivery
Royal Mail’s Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery (Saturday)
25-200 sheets only; available by phone; requires a signature on delivery – in our experience, NOT 100% reliable
Timed Next Working Day Delivery via Carrier (pre-10:30am/pre-noon/Saturday)
250+ sheets only; available by phone; requires a signature on delivery

Delivery to Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland (+ Islands With UK Postcodes & “Extended Postcodes”)
These areas tend to have slightly longer delivery times all year round, which means it’s even more important to order early if you need your labels delivering to one of these locations before Christmas.
Small orders (25-200 sheets):
Northern Ireland, Islands With UK Postcodes, Extended Postcodes:
Despatch same day via Royal Mail’s first class service (Mon-Fri, up to 4:30pm), LAST POSTING DATE: Wednesday 23rd December
Republic Of Ireland
Despatch same day via Royal Mail’s international standard service (Mon-Fri, up to 4:30pm), LAST POSTING DATE: Friday 16th December
Medium/large orders (250+ sheets & made to order items):
Despatch same day from stock (or when made to order items have been made) via 2-3 working day carrier service (Mon-Fri, up to 3pm), LAST POSTING DATE: Wednesday 21st December

Remember, if you have any questions about our despatch and delivery, would like to check the stock availability or despatch estimate of a particular item, or need some advice about how to order the labels you want in time for a specific deadline, please get in touch with our Customer Service Team.

Website News – Our Template Project Is Almost Finished

Thursday, September 29th, 2016

If you’re a frequent visitor to the Label Planet Blog (or the Label Planet site), you may be aware that we have been working away to improve the Templates Section of our website to make it bigger and better than ever.

As part of our template revamp, we’re creating brand new sets of templates (in Word and PDF formats) for all of our label sizes (including Portrait & Landscape options, Text Box & Mirrored Text Box options, and Bleed templates – where possible), along with a “Template Information Page” for each label size that we supply.

The template information pages provide more detailed information about each label size we supply, including measurements and compatible Avery template codes (where applicable), along with tips and advice for printing that particular label size and layout. You can also download a printing template from this page and see, at a glance, all of the different material and adhesive options available for each label size.

We’re delighted to announce that our revamp is almost complete; all of the new information pages are available for customers to peruse, while we’re working hard to complete all of the new template sets for all of our label sizes. Currently, we have created complete Word & PDF template sets for our Rectangular Labels and our Round Labels; Word template sets for our Square Labels, Oval Labels, and Special Use Labels have been added to our website with the PDF sets in development at this very moment – we’ll be adding these sets as soon as they’re done!

To find the template information page for your Label Planet labels, you can either:

  • VISIT OUR TEMPLATE HOME PAGE: click on the link for your label shape, find your label size in the table, and click on the “More Info” link to navigate to the template information page for that particular size and layout.
  • VISIT THE PRODUCT PAGE OF YOUR LABELS: click on the purple “Label Templates And Printing Information For This Label” link to visit the template information page for your labels.

You can now download a template by visiting our Template Home page and selecting the link for the label shape you want to print (find your label size in the table and select the Word or the PDF portrait template) OR by visiting the Template Information page for your label size and selecting the template you would like to download.

We recommend that you choose to “save” rather than “open” your template if you are given the choice; you can then use your software to open the saved template (“File” > “Open”), which will allow your software to check if the template is compatible before you start designing your template.

If you are unable to edit your template, it may have been temporarily locked – simply click on the (yellow) “Enable Editing” button or banner at the top of the page to unlock your template and add your design. If you find that your Word template appears to be completely blank (with the Label Planet code repeating across the page), it is likely that Table Gridlines are turned off. To turn Table Gridlines on you should left click once in the centre of your template, select the Table Tools “Layout” tab at the top of the page, and click on “View Gridlines” (Word 2007 onwards, Word For Mac 2016); alternatively, select the “Table Layout” tab, and click “Gridlines” (Word For Mac 2011).

Visit our Template Home page to find a label template or visit our Advice Home page to find even more helpful resources, including our Sample Request service, answers to Frequently Asked Questions, and a variety of helpful tips.

Finders Keepers – Use Our Label Finder To Find Labels That You’ll Definitely Want To Keep!

Thursday, September 1st, 2016

Finding the right label for the job in hand can be a difficult task – especially with so many choices on offer. There are different sizes and shapes, materials and adhesives, which can make it very confusing to try to find the one that’s “just right” for you.

Here at Label Planet, we supply over 3000 different label products across a range of over 100 sizes and over 30 different material options – which means we SHOULD have a label to suit almost every application, if only you can find out which is “the one”!

This is where our brand new Label Finder comes in handy; simply enter your requirements and our Label Finder will create a list of labels that are suitable based on the information you have entered. You can then refine your search using the categories provided, request a sample to give a few of the possible options a try, or simply go ahead and place an order!

For example, you can use any of the following requirements as a starting point:

  • Label Use
While we couldn’t possibly list ALL of the label applications that our customers might need to find labels for, we have done our best to come up with a comprehensive list of label applications as a basic starting point. We have then selected the label products that we believe are the most suitable for these applications as a guide for customers who want some extra assistance in choosing the right label – although, you are, of course, perfectly free to ignore our suggestions and choose an alternative that you think is better!
  • Printer Type
Some of our label materials can only be printed with an inkjet printer OR a laser printer (while the rest can be printed with either); if you use your printer as one of the filters in your label search, the Finder will automatically remove any label products that your printer won’t actually be able to print.
  • Shape
If you know you want a particular shape, use this filter to view all of the label sizes and material combinations available for that shape.
  • Colour
This filter will allow you to view only the label sizes that are available in the colour you want to use.
  • Number Per Sheet
This option is particularly useful if you’ve got a sheet of labels from somewhere but you’ve either forgotten where they came from OR you want to see if we have a compatible product – and you don’t have a code or specific information to help narrow down your search.
  • Avery Template Code
If you’ve already got Avery labels, or you want to use an existing Avery template, you can use this filter to see all of the Label Planet products (if any) that are compatible with the Avery code you have in mind – you can then use your Avery template to print onto your Label Planet labels, without having to redesign your template.
  • Material
To find out what label sizes and material options are available for a particular label material, select from the four options in this filter. This option is ideal if you know that you only want to look at paper labels or if you know that you need a long-lasting, durable label (in which case a polyester or polyethylene option would be best).
  • Adhesive
If you know that you definitely want a permanent adhesive (so your labels won’t come off), a removable adhesive (for temporary labels that won’t do any damage when they are removed), or an adhesive that is suitable for a more unusual environment (e.g. deep freeze or outdoor conditions), you can select the appropriate type of adhesive to see what label sizes and material options are available.
  • Finish
You may have a firm idea of what you want your labels to look like; to view products that have a bright, shiny finish select “Gloss” from this filter, select “Matt” to view only those products that have a plain, non-shiny finish, or choose “Semi-Gloss” for a compromise between the two.
  • Waterproof
For label applications where you need your labels to be able to survive exposure to or immersion in water, you can choose to add “waterproof” as a requirement so that the Finder will only show you products that are suitable for use in these conditions; for example, you may need labels for use outdoors or product labels for items that will be stored and/or used in the bathroom or kitchen.
  • Width
Use this option if you know that your labels need to be a specific width; selecting this option will show you all of the label products we supply that have the exact width that you need.
  • Height
Likewise, if you need your labels to be a particular height, the Finder can instantly narrow down your options to show only the label products that have the specific height you need.

If the exact width or height that you want to use is not available, you can also use these two options to see if there is a suitable alternative that will work just as well for your label application.

  • Label Code
If you want to look up a particular product or you want to re-order a product that you’ve bought from us in the past, you can select the specific Label Planet code from the list to instantly bring up a direct link to the product page for that label product.
  • Label Planet Size Code
You can use this option if you have a specific Label Planet label size in mind (whether you already buy them from us or you know that a particular size is the one you need) and you want to see what material options are available for that size.
  • Label Planet Material Code
This option is useful if you already buy labels from us in a particular material but want to know what other label sizes are available in that material.

To get started with your search for the perfect Label Planet label head on over to our Label Finder page; for more information about any of our label ranges, take a look at our List Of All Materials Page, which will direct you to more detailed information about the materials and adhesive options listed in the Label Finder.
