Adhesive (Water Soluble) - What is a water soluble adhesive?
Definition of WATER SOLUBLE ADHESIVE:
A type of pressure sensitive adhesive that is made with components that are all water soluble (i.e. will dissolve in water). Also known as “wash-off adhesives”, these adhesives form bonds that can hold a label in place while it is needed but can also be dissolved in water, which allows the labels to be cleanly removed from a substrate without leaving behind any adhesive residue. They are popular for use on reusable bottles and containers used by the food and drink industry.
At Label Planet, we supply a range of wash-off labels; our Water Wash Off labels are made of matt white paper with a wash-off adhesive.
