Franking Labels - What are franking labels?
Definition of FRANKING LABEL:
Labels that are designed for use with franking machines. Franking machines allow businesses and organisations to pre-pay postage costs for their mail; a franking machine can weigh mail, calculate the cost of postage, and then print the appropriate postage stamps and markings (or franks) onto each item. Franking labels are used for parcels that may not fit into the franking machine directly; the franking machine prints a stamp onto a label, which is then stuck onto the parcel.
At Label Planet, we supply franking labels that measure 151mm wide by 40mm high and are compatible with a wide variety of personal franking machines.
