Set - What does set mean?
Answer:
The process of or time taken for an adhesive to reach ultimate adhesion. All adhesives have a certain level of initial tack but require a further period of time to pass to allow a bond between an adhesive and an adherend to reach its full strength. The term "set time" is used to refer to the amount of time a particular adhesive takes to set completely, under standard conditions.
