Having a bumper crop on my apple tree...
Having a bumper crop on my apple tree this year, I made jam & chutney, using lots of reclaimed jars. Because many of them had logos on the lids, or were just plain tatty, I wanted to make circular labels to cover them up. I'd already made large rectangular ones for the sides of the jars, but short of printing & cutting out circles from them, how was I to do the lids? Then I found Label Planet, who had just what I was looking for, And moreover delivered the order almost before I'd finished sending it. My next problem was, how do I format my document to print accurately on the labels? (my computer skills are limited to say the least) but I needn't have worried: the labels came with a link to the website which gave exact, easy to follow instructions, and my jars now look the bees' knees! (appropriate, as the bees were responsible for the bumper crop in the first place!!) Thank you!!

Very quick service and delivery, good quality and range of products, very helpful website with templates etc., and very fair prices. Just one question - my fairly small order arrived in two different boxes delivered the same day by two different vans - surely not the most cost-effective? But basically - excellent - recommended.

You ordered a mixture of small packs and a bulk box of 500 sheets. While we aim to stock as many products as possible, it simply isn't possible for us to keep stock of all of our products in bulk boxes at our main offices, which means that these have to be despatched separately from our warehouse. Likewise, our warehouse is unable to despatch both bulk products and small packs. This does mean that, on occasion, orders will end up being delivered separately but we do not pass on additional delivery charges to our customers.

Our templates have been designed specifically for our labels but may need slight adjustments to ensure that each individual user can get the best possible alignment based on their unique set up of hardware and software.
We are happy to help customers if they have any problems adjusting the template themselves & there are plenty of tips on our website to help out.

The labels are fine, easy to peel off...
The labels are fine, easy to peel off and easy to fit accurately on the DVD. However, the template is very poor. It's difficult to control the placing of pictures and text and I can't achieve the result I want. I used to use CD-Label Print to print onto printable disc but the discs are so old that to print quality is bad. I could adjust text and pictures very easily even bending them into diffent shapes to fit onto the disc. I thought I might be able to copy the layout onto your template but no luck. I ended up building a a very simple layout on your template and even that would not allow the final adjustments of positioning that I wanted to do. Ho hum.

We offer Word & PDF templates for our customers to use as these templates are compatible with a wide range of software and should allow as many of our customers as possible to access a template that works with software that they already have and are familiar with using.

However, they are unlikely to offer the same level of precision as the software you used to use (CD Label Print), which is software designed specifically for the purpose of designing and printing (CD) labels.
There is a variety of label design software (including CD label design) available - some freeware and some paid for. You may find that there is a suitable replacements, which you could use in future.
