Clear Coat - What is a clear coat?
Definition of CLEAR COAT:
A type of coating; a clear film that is applied to the top surface of a face material before or after it has been printed to create a protective coating. A clear coat is designed to protect the face material and print of a label from being damaged by environmental factors such as abrasion, sunlight, chemicals, and moisture. Clear coating is usually done using lacquers or varnishes.
