Printer Margins - What are printer margins?
Definition of PRINTER MARGINS:
Most standard desktop printers cannot print to the very edge of an A4 sheet. This means that there is an unprintable border around the edge of a sheet; this area is defined by four printer margins (top, bottom, left, and right). Most printers have options such as "Fit to Printable Area“ or "Fit to Printer Margins“, which will automatically resize a document to the printer margins of a particular printer. Some programs such as Microsoft Word will also automatically detect the printer margins of a particular printer. Laser printers are usually capable of producing smaller printer margins than inkjet printers.
