Adhesive Sandwich - What is an adhesive sandwich?
Definition of ADHESIVE SANDWICH:
A pressure sensitive adhesive that is applied between two release liners with a release differential; the release coat on one of the release liners has an easier release than the release coat on the other release liner, which allows the adhesive to be applied onto a substrate by exposing one side of the adhesive (for example, when applying an adhesive onto stock that will become the face material of a pressure sensitive construction), while the second release liner remains in place (where it will become the backing sheet of a pressure sensitive construction).
