Matt White Polyester Waterproof Labels For Laser Printers

• These labels are supplied on A4 sheets of matt white polyester with a permanent waterproof adhesive. They are for use with laser printers and photocopiers. Our white polyester labels are most commonly chosen because there is a requirement for labels that are more durable than standard paper labels and/or waterproof. Usually this is because the labels are intended for long term use or in conditions that are unsuitable for a standard paper label. The matt material provides a professional, quality finish that is particularly suited to items that also have a matt surface.
• Our matt white polyester labels are waterproof due to the polyester material, the waterproof adhesive, and the laser printing process. They are well-suited to conditions where the printed label is likely to get wet. Common uses include labels for bottles and containers that hold liquids, in damp conditions such as kitchens and bathrooms, on items that are displayed outside shops or in garden centres, or on packages that are to be shipped long distance. The material and adhesive used for these labels conform to the BS5609 part 2 standard for marine immersion, which means they have been tested in salt water at mid-tide for a period of three months, and are suitable for use in outdoor and marine environments.
• If customers require a waterproof matt white label that is suitable for use on uneven or curved surfaces, we recommend our polyethylene (MWPE) and polyolefin (MWPO) labels, which are thicker but are also softer and more pliable than our polyester labels.

• Long life tracking labels – the polyester material and strong adhesive mean these labels are commonly used as long lasting tracking labels. This is a common requirement for address or shipping labels on items that may be travelling long distances or exposed to damp conditions, or for tracking items that will be put into storage. These labels can be printed with identifying information, delivery or storage instructions, or information stored in an alternative format such as barcodes and QR codes.
• Organising and filing – the durable polyester is a great material to use in offices as part of smart, professional filing systems across files and folders, in and out trays, as well as boxes and storage units. They can be used to convey directions or identifying information, to advertise sales and promotions, as notes and reminders, or as notices including health and safety warnings and instructions. Other uses include shelving labels in warehouses and shops, in kitchens and office space at home, or in school cloakrooms and classrooms. The waterproof material means they are ideal for external applications such as displays outside shops or in garden centres.
• Outdoor or marine conditions – as these labels conform to the BS5609 part 2 standard for marine immersion they can be used for applications that involve exposure to outdoor and/or marine conditions. Common examples of applications that require durable waterproof labels include labelling chemical drums, medical and laboratory supplies, products that will be exposed to wet conditions such as kitchen, bathroom or gardening products, at swimming pools, equipment rental facilities, marinas, water sports companies, landscaping and gardening companies, construction and maintenance companies, and many more instances where identifying information, instructions, or signs need to remain in place even under adverse conditions.
• Retail labels – the polyester material is more durable than paper, creating a quality finish that helps information stand out, while the matt finish blends well with matt surfaces that are often used for packaging. Matt white polyester labels can be used to add product information, prices, contact information, and special features or promotional offers to products, company brochures, shelving, or displays. Waterproof labels are suitable for products that contain liquids or that may be exposed to wet conditions during storage, or before or after purchase. Our waterproof labels are particularly popular for use on containers such as bottles and jars that hold cosmetics or food and drink products.
